Moving on, we will today count further than hattu to more than that. I understand the relation is not direct, and we have many different representations of 10 and slight modification in the original numbers. Hello Everyone!! Back after quite some time. Hope you all are doing well. Hope you all still remember the lessons from the previous posts. If not, budge up, go back and brush up. Today, we are going to add few more random words to our vocabulary. So let us begin with some proverbs : 1. He - avanu 2. She - avalu 3. It/That - adu 4. This - idu. Let us see some sentence usages of these : 1. avanu hogthane - he goes. 2. avalu hogthale -  she goes. Okay! Okay! Okay! I know I am the culprit and I haven't told anything about hogthane, but bear with me, we will cover this thing up next time. For now, hothane means goes and hogthene means go. Thus, naanu hogthene means I go. Details will be next time. Now back to the today's agenda. Welcome Again!! So in the last post we increased our kannada vocabulary. Also, by the end, we made some primitive sentences. (I can hear someone telling me about something called assignment :p) And also, in the end, I left a few english sentences to be converted to Kannada. I hope everyone has done that. So here are the answers: Food was good there : alli oota chennagittu Food will be good here : illi oota chennagirutte Food will not be good here : illi oota chennagiralla Yeah yeah!! I know you people are very intelligent and this assignment was not up to your mark. But chill, as we go further, they will also catch up :p So today, we will look into the questions and how to answer them. Don't keep your hopes very high, since I don't want you to start bombarding me with heavy questions in Kannada, today's lesson will be primitive. Let's start with what how why etc. yaake - why Enu - what hege - how yaava - which yavaga - when Yay!! why? What?

In post 1, we learnt a few words. Hope you remember them. Before we proceed, we will have a quick recap of those words. Yaay!! naanu - me/I naavu - we/us. neenu - U (singular) neevu - U (plural) hogu - go baa - come maadu - do kelu - ask togo - take howdu - yes illa - no illi - here alli - there elli - where yeshtu - how much You got all right?? Alright ;) You are bang on track. We also saw that the verbs have more formal forms. They were as follows: Hogi - Go Banni - come maadi - do keli - ask togoli - take Cheers!! We got all correct (Yeah!! All my readers are bright). Now we move forward with next set of words. (I know, I know you are itching to start making sentences. But believe me, we will be doing that soon. For now, this should be good). Hello people!!! Hope you are all set to take the journey to learn Kannada. So we will started with learning the basic words, which can be used as single word sentences and are frequently used. And that is exactly what the first lesson for me was. (Calling lesson because I also learnt everything as lessons, given, on due request, by a colleague/friend of mine). So, the first words of kannada kid ;) naanu - me/I naavu - we/us. neenu - U (singular) neevu - U (plural) Yeah!! I know the kid is a bit self centered and rather than saying "ma", he said me and you first. But we will forgive him for that and make some observations. A general observation we can say that "naa" comes for the first person, "nee" for second person while the suffix "nu" is singular while "vu" implies plural. This might actually be a very specific observation for this case. but fits well. However, I must mention here that, English and Kannada will not h
